A Tour Through Vietnam

“Xin chào, Chào mừng đến với Việt Nam!!” It says, Hello, Welcome to Vietnam, home to several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the ancient capital of Huế, the stunning Halong Bay, and the Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng National Park, with its huge network of caves.
Arrive, Hanoi at the Noi Bai International Airport, meet and greet our local representative who will be waiting for you at the Arrival hall area. And transfer to the hotel.

After Breakfast, Today you will proceed to experience the ancient culture and history of Vietnam as well as see the stunning landscape and beautiful scenery when we travel to the Ninh Binh Province. This area is known as “Ha Long Bay on land” and is located 80 km South of Hanoi Around 8:00 - 8:30. Our guide & driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter, then leave by coach to Hoa Lu (2.5 hrs). Visit the historic capital of Vietnam and the famous ancient temples of Le and the Dinh Dynasties. Then our bus will transfer you from Hoa Lu to Tam Coc for lunch. After lunch enjoy the boat trip to visit Tam Coc to see the beauty of the karst formations as you pass along their base and row into one of the many caves carved through the limestone. Then, cycle for an hour on quiet roads through villages, rice fields, rivers and rocky outcrops in Tam Coc - Bich Dong (around 5 km). Drive back to Hanoi and drop off at your hotel around 18:00 pm.

In the morning, check-out from the hotel and get pick-up by the Cruise. Take a route most scenic to reach Halong Bay, taking you across the Red River Delta with emerald green rice paddies stretching for as far as the eyes can see. On arrival at Halong, you get to enjoy a cruise on the Bay to better explore the limestone rocks and the karst grottoes.

After you are done with your exploration of the bay, it is time to enjoy an utterly delicious seafood lunch, after which a trip to the famous limestone cave in Ha Long bay, you’ll get to spend some time here, kayaking or swimming, so that you can get closer to the floating villages and shops. Towards the evening, you will return to the boat for an early dinner, followed by some time at leisure. You can opt to attend the activities taking part in the boat or relax for the day.

(Note: In case of bad weather (the boat is not allowed to push off or not allowed to overnight in the sea), the Ha Long bay tour could be cancelled without notice. We will consider other replacement tour or refund based on the specific circumstances)

Enjoy a hearty breakfast. The boat will make its way back to the port stopping at the Limestone Cave, full of stalagmites and stalactites. From here, it’s clear sailing back to the main harbour and returning to Hanoi around 16:00. Then the driver will pick you up and transfer to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh.

Have breakfast at the hotel, then depart for Cu Chi tunnel, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by an introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time exploring the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the specially constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centres helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purposes during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served. Break time for relaxing or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun. Return to Saigon.

(Starts 7.20 am – return around 17.30) 7:20am Pick up from hotel. Kick start your day with a hearty breakfast and a trip to Mekong Delta follows. Depart to My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, board the sampan and cruise down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands. Have a stopover at Unicorn Island, go walking around the country lane and see the orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, and folk song music which is performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation. Then ride a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself to the beauty of the countryside, visit the honey-bee farm and coconut candy workshop. Have lunch at a local restaurant. Break time. In the afternoon, time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta. Hammocks are relaxing and enjoy a cool breeze for those who can't join the cycling trip. Return to Ho Chi Minh.

Relish a healthy breakfast on the final day of your trip. Complete the hotel check-out formalities after which you can visit the local markets and buy souvenirs for your loved ones. Later, proceed for departure and board your flight back home with fond memories of your Joy-N-Crew Vacations.
