July to October is the best time for wildlife viewing, especially to witness the Great Migration in the Masai Mara, as it is the long dry season.
January to February is also a dry, hot period with excellent game viewing.
The long rains are from March to May (low season, fewer crowds, lower prices), and the short rains are in November and December (moderate season).
Comfortable, lightweight, and breathable clothes like cotton or linen. Jeans, chinos, longer skirts, and t-shirts are all fine. When on Safari, choose neutral, muted colors (khaki, beige, olive green, brown, grey). These help you blend into the environment and are less likely to disturb wildlife.Avoid, bright colors (white, red, yellow) and dark colors (black, dark blue) as they can attract insects in some regions and stand out too much.
