On arrival at Amritsar Airport or Railway Station, you will meet with our company representative, later transfer and check into the hotel, evening free to explore the most famous Golden Temple, back to the hotel and overnight stay in Amritsar.

After breakfast, Proceed to Dharamshala. En-Route visit Jwalaji Temple – one of the most ancient temples and also a shaktipeeth known for its continuous burning sacred flame. Later visit Pragpur. Pragpur is a Heritage village in India, and it’s known for its Cottage Industry. Take a heritage walk of Pragpur.

After breakfast, Visit the Tsuglagkhang Complex, a center for Tibetan culture that includes a museum and the residence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the founder of Tibetan Buddhism. Visit well-known monasteries and a Tibetan hospital later (Subject to availability due to current restrictions on COVID-19). You could also go to Mcleodganj, Dal Lake, St. John Church, and, if time allows, Bhagsu Nag.

After breakfast, take a trip to Khajjiar, the miniature Switzerland of India located 13 kilometers from Kalatop and 23 kilometers from Dalhousie by road. The dense pine and cedar trees encircle the lovely green pastures. The saucer-shaped meadow is surrounded by a small lake that contains a floating island. The temple of Khajji Nag, which dates to the 12th century AD, is located not far from the lake. The temple's sanctum was exquisitely carved out of wood. Later, stop by St. John's Church on your way back to Dalhousie. After the town of Dalhousie was established, it was the first to be constructed. Hotel stays for the night.

After an early breakfast, checkout and proceed to Amritsar. Amritsar, also known as Ambarsar, is a significant spiritual location for Sikhs. The holy pool, established in 1574 by Guru Ram Das, the fourth Sikh guru, gave the city its name. This sacred body of water surrounds Harmandir Sahib, also referred to by devotees as the Golden Temple. Then head to the Wagah border crossing between India and Pakistan. Watch as soldiers from both nations lower their respective national flags during the ceremony known as "Beating the Retreat." Visit the renowned Golden Temple after you've returned. You are welcome to visit Jallianwala Bagh if time allows.
