Arrive in Beijing and meet your local representative at the airport. Complete the immigration formalities. Proceed to a local Indian restaurant for dinner. Check into the hotel for overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, begin the day with a visit to the Temple of Heaven, where emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties once prayed for good harvests. Stroll through its serene gardens and admire the iconic circular architecture. Continue to Tiananmen Square, one of the largest public squares in the world and an important historical landmark. From here, proceed to the magnificent Forbidden City, the former imperial palace of China, known for its grand courtyards, halls, and rich imperial history.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the evening, witness the thrilling Chinese Acrobatic Show, showcasing incredible skill, balance, and traditional performance art. Dinner at a local Indian restaurant.
Overnight: Beijing

After an early breakfast, depart for the Badaling section of the Great Wall, one of the most famous and well-preserved stretches of the Great Wall. Visit the wall using the Funicular ride (to & fro), allowing you to comfortably enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and historic watchtowers. Later, visit a Jade Factory to learn about traditional jade craftsmanship and browse souvenirs. Afterwards, visit and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant enroute.
In the afternoon, return to the city and visit the beautiful Summer Palace, China’s largest imperial garden, known for Kunming Lake, the Long Corridor, and classical Chinese landscaping. Continue with photo stops at the iconic Bird’s Nest Stadium and Water Cube, celebrated landmarks from the Beijing Olympics. In the evening, take a stroll along Xiushui Street.
Overnight: Beijing

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the railway station to board the highspeed train to Xian (journey time approx 4.5 hours). Enjoy a smooth and comfortable journey through the Chinese countryside. Upon arrival in Xian, transfer to the hotel and check in. Later, explore Ming & Qing Street, a lively pedestrian street lined with traditional architecture, local snacks, and souvenir shops.
Visit the historic Drum Tower and Bell Tower, ancient landmarks once used for timekeeping in the city. Dinner at a local Indian restaurant.
Overnight: Xian

After breakfast, proceed to visit the world-famous Terracotta Army, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring thousands of life-sized warriors, horses, and chariots built to guard Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s tomb. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant near the site. Later, make a photo stop at the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, an important Buddhist landmark. In the evening, enjoy the spectacular Tang Dynasty Show, showcasing traditional music, dance, and costumes from China’s golden era.
Overnight: XIAN

After breakfast, check out and transfer to the railway station for a high-speed train journey to Chongqing (journey time approx. 5 hours). Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Relax for a few hours after the journey. In the evening, visit Hongya Cave, a beautifully illuminated riverside complex inspired by traditional stilted architecture, offering stunning night views. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Overnight: Chongqing

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day city tour of Chongqing.
Visit Kuixing Tower, a historic viewpoint offering great city views.
Continue to Liziba Light Rail Station, famous for its train passing through a residential building.
Later, explore Ciqikou Ancient Town, known for its old streets, tea houses, and local delicacies. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Post lunch, visit Chongqing Zoo, home to giant pandas and other wildlife.
Continue to Raffles City, followed by a visit to the modern architectural landmark.
In the evening, enjoy a scenic Yangtze River Cruise, offering beautiful views of Chongqing’s skyline. Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight: Chongqing

After breakfast, transfer to the railway station for the train journey to Zhangjiajie (journey time approx. 4 hours). Upon arrival, proceed to Tianmen Mountain via cable car, one of the longest cable car rides in the world. Visit the spectacular Tianmen Cave (Heaven’s Gate), a natural rock arch and one of the most iconic landmarks in the region. Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight: Zhangjiajie

After breakfast, visit the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, the world’s longest and highest glass-bottom bridge (536 meters long, 280 meters above the canyon), offering thrilling views of the canyon below. Then have your lunch. Continue to the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, famous for its towering sandstone pillars that inspired the movie Avatar.
Experience the Bailong Elevator, the world’s tallest outdoor elevator, to ascend into the scenic park area. Later, descend by cable car and return to the hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight: Zhangjiajie

After breakfast, visit Baofeng Lake, a serene scenic area surrounded by mountains and crystalclear waters. Enjoy a short boat ride. Later, transfer to the airport for your flight to Shanghai (flight time approx. 2 hours). Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and check in.

After breakfast, visit Yuyuan Garden, a classical Chinese garden built in the 16th century. Wander through pavilions, lotus ponds, and rock gardens, and admire the intricate wood carvings and tile work. Explore the Yuyuan Bazaar next, a bustling market outside the garden. Next, visit a Silk Factory to learn about China’s 5,000-year history of silk production. Enjoy lunch at a local Indian restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit the Shanghai Museum, home to one of China’s largest collections of ancient art. Then, tour Nanjing Road, Shanghai’s famous shopping street. Cross the Huangpu River and visit the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, including the 2nd ball observation deck, offering panoramic views of Shanghai’s skyline. Then visit the Bund, the waterfront district lined with 52 colonial-era buildings. Dinner at a local Indian restaurant.
Overnight: Shanghai

After breakfast, set off on a day trip to Zhujiajiao Water Town with a boat ride, a 1,700-year-old “Venice of the East” located 50 km from Shanghai. Explore the town’s stone bridges, canals, and traditional wooden houses. Return to Shanghai.
Enjoy your lunch at a local Indian restaurant. As night falls, go shopping at AP Market, a popular local market for affordable fashion, accessories, and gadgets. Enjoy your dinner at a local Indian restaurant.
Overnight: Shanghai

Spring (April to May) and Autumn (September to October) are the preferred months. During these months, travelers experience the most comfortable temperatures across major cities like Beijing, Xi’an, and Shanghai, along with stunning natural scenery.
China is generally very casual. For the months of April and May, Jeans and sneakers are perfectly acceptable for almost all sightseeing, you can carry light trousers or long skirts, T-shirts, a light jacket for evenings. Expect dry, windy days (carry a light scarf). A comfortable foot ware as there would some walking during the tour.
Indian meals and Veg meal will be offered in Beijing, Xian and Shanghai, however in cities like Chongqing and Zhangjiajie, due to unavailability of Indian restaurants we would be offering continental meals.
The processing time for a regular China tourist visa (L-visa) is around 6 – 8 workings days. In case Consular Officer requests an interview or additional information, the processing time may get delayed.
