Golden temple (Sri Harmandir Sahib) The Golden temple is famous for its full golden dome; it is one of the most sacred pilgrim spots for Sikhs. The Mandir is built on a 67-ft square of marble and is a two-story structure. Maharaja Ranjit Singh had the upper half of the building built with approximately 400 kg of gold leaf. After breakfast, we will be exploring the most famous hill station, which is also known as “Mini-Switzerland of India, “Khajjiar. It is one of the most scenic saucer-shaped plateaus and is surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests. Its beauty has been further enhanced by a small lake in the centre with a floating island. Enjoy various sports activities like Zorbing, horse riding, etc., at your own cost. (In case of heavy snowfall during winters, the road to Khajjiar will be blocked. In such a case, you can still visit Khajjiar from an alternate route with an extra transport cost. Or you can visit the nearby sightseeing Chamera Lake with no additional cost. Later, drive back to Dalhousie and visit Panchpula, St Francis Catholic Church, and Mall Road. Overnight stay at Dalhousie.

After Breakfast, drive to Dharamshala by road. Lying in the Shadow of the mighty Dhauladhar range, the beautiful town has everything to offer you. McLeod Ganj serves as the Capital of the Tibetan Government in exile. Often referred to as “Little Lhasa”, the vivid character of the city attracts many visitors from all parts of the world. After Breakfast, enjoy your Dharamshala City tour. Visit International Cricket Stadium, State War Memorial (Entrance payable directly)- The picturesque venue is unique in India as it is situated at an altitude of 1,457 m above sea level and has the snow-capped Himalayan mountains in the background. The War Memorial is located near the Stadium and in the pine forest of Dharamshala. It was built to commemorate the memory of those who fought valiantly for the honor of their motherland.
Dal Lake, St John Church, Bhagsu Nath Temple, waterfall, and Dalai Lama Temple
Located at a height of 1775 m above sea level, the Dal Lake is a small, yet picturesque lake surrounded by rugged mountains and towering deodar trees, and is a marvelous place to be. Your Next stop is St. John Church is an Anglican church that lies in the forest near Forsythe Gunj. This Neo—Gothic stone church was built in 1852 and has some fine Belgian stained-glass windows.
Bhagsunag: This ancient temple is 2 km from Mcleodganj. Close to this temple is a beautiful waterfall. The waterfall is present at a walkable distance from the Bhagsu temple and is a perfect place to revel in the glories of nature and spend some quiet moments in peace and serenity.
Dalai Lama Temple: It is the residence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The Tibetan Government in exile has been here for almost four decades. The impressive monastery has larger-than-life images of the Buddha, Padmasambhava, and Avalokiteshwara.

Now, time is free to enjoy the Mcloadganj Market- Grab some souvenirs like Singing bowls, Jewellery, Buddha statues, Prayer flags, Prayer wheels, rugs, Handcrafted diaries, Local Tibetan handicrafts, paintings, etc, from the local market.
Later, drive back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
