Itinerary

When you arrive at Bagdogra airport, you will meet with our company representative who will assist you with your whole trip, later transfer to Phuentsholing, on arrival check into the hotel. This is your entry point into Bhutan, which is the ideal fusion of customs, scenery, and culture. After checking in at the hotel, you have the rest of the day to yourself. You might pay a visit to the Bhutan Gate, the principal entry point for people traveling from India to Bhutan. With images of the gate encapsulating traditional Bhutanese architecture, it is one of the most photographed locations in Bhutan. You can savor a delectable dinner at the hotel after sightseeing around the city.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan, on arrival check into the hotel and enjoy your day with leisure activities.

After breakfast, explore the capital city of Bhutan ``Thimphu”, here you are going to explore Tashichho Dzong, Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodong), Memorial Chorten, Changangkha Lhakhang (Monastery), Motithang Takin Preservation Centre, Drupthob Goemba / Zilukha Nunnery, National Library (Closed on weekends, National Holiday, & During Summer & Winter Vacations), Institute for Zorig Chusum (Traditional Art & (Monastery), Textile Museum and Zangtho Pelri Lhakhang (Monastery).

Later come back to the hotel and stayed overnight at Thimpu.

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Wangdi (Wangdiphodrang) (1350Meters / 4430 Feet, 70 Kms / 03 to 3.5 Hrs) or Punakha (1200 Mts / 3936Fts, 77 Kms / 03 to 312 Hrs) after breakfast. The final town before entering Central Bhutan is Punakha or Wangdi. The drive crosses the stunning Dochu La pass, which is 3080 meters (10102 feet) high and offers a breathtaking view of the Bhutanese highlands. Visit the Suspension Bridge if time permits, then continue to Chimi Lhakhang after seeing the Punakha Dzong (Monastery).

After breakfast, you can visit the Punakha Valley or go rafting on the Punakha River. Returning to the hotel overnight.

Today's journey to Gangtey and Phobjikha Valley (3000 meters / 9845 feet, 85 kilometers, 3 to 3.5 hours one way) will begin early. One of Bhutan's most stunning locations is the Gangtey valley. Visit the Black Necked Crane Information Center and Gangtey Goempa (Monastery) before returning to your accommodation in Gangtey.

After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Paro (2134 meters/7000 feet, 135 kilometers/ 05 hours). En-route visits Lamperi along the way to tour the Royal Botanical Garden. Later, continue to drive to Paro on arrival, check into the hotel, rest all the day will be leisure, Overnight stay at the hotel in Paro.

Day 7 :
Paro

After early breakfast, start your day early to climb to Taktsang Lhakhang (Tiger's Nest Monastery). The hike, which is entirely uphill and through pine forests, takes around two to three hours one way. Spend the afternoon at leisure browsing in the market. Later come back to the hotel and the evening is free for leisure activities, and overnight stay at the hotel in Paro.

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Phuentsholing, after enjoying the 6 hours drive you will be checking into the hotel, later take some rest and enjoy the sightseeing of Zangto Pelri Lhakhang, a modern replica of Guru Rinpoche's celestial abode. A beautiful, verdant garden encircles it.

Where you can stroll or make the gesture of spinning the prayer wheels, an important aspect of Buddhist rituals. A trip to the Karbandi Monastery would then come after this because so many couples come there to pray for children. After an Indian pilgrim became pregnant from praying at this monastery, the temple became a stop for would-be parents. It answers prayers and provides a breathtaking vista of the Bengal Plains and the Phuentsholing valley. You will be driven back to the hotel for a delectable dinner in the evening.

  • For travel to Bhutan, a valid voter ID or passport is required.
  • National Museum in Paro and Museum at Ta Dzong in Trongsa are both closed on Sunday and Monday. The National Library in Thimphu is also closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and official holidays.
  • Folk Heritage Museum in Thimphu is open from 10.30 am to 1.00 pm on Saturdays and from 11.30 am to 3.00 pm on Sundays. It is closed on Government Holidays.
  • Textile Museum is closed on official holidays and open on Sundays and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
  • Institute of Zorig Chusum (Painting School or Arts & Crafts School) - Thimphu: Closed on Sun & Government Holidays and Sat open from 10 am to 12 o'clock
  • Institute of Traditional Medicine - Thimphu: Closed on weekends & Government Holidays
  • Post Office: Closed on Sat, Sun & Government Holidays and other days open from 1000-1700
  • Paro Dzong opens till 1700 hrs.”
  • Trashi Chhoe Dzong, Thimpu: Open from 5–6 pm from Mon-Fri, 8 am-6 pm on Sat & Sun, 8 am to 5 pm in winter on Sat & Sunday.
  • The above rates are subject to change due to tariff revision by the Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB), major exchange rate fluctuation, royalty or visa fee revision, or in case new taxes are being imposed by govt. of Bhutan.
  • Bhutan is a Tobacco-free country, so tobacco is not easily available. One can carry up to 250 cigarettes for personal use by declaring at customs upon arrival and paying appropriate duty @ 200%. Most hotels have both smoking and non-smoking rooms; however, they prefer no smoking in the rooms because most of the hotels are made of wood.
  • One bottle of liquor per person is allowed to be imported Duty-Free.
  • Santa Fe / Tucson for 2-3 Pax & Hyundai H1 / HI ace for 4-6 Pax
