Udaipur 02N | Mt. Abu 02N
Udaipur, Rajasthan, would be far too touristic for us, as we had been forewarned. But we made the decision to reject received wisdom and set out to personally experience Udaipur. And look at that! We were stunned and in love with Udaipur, visitors or not. We, therefore, decided to share our trip impressions from the "city of lakes." This city has been utilized as the setting for a James Bond film before (Octopussy, 1983), and there may have been a good reason for that. Unquestionably, one of the top vacation destinations in India is Udaipur, with its magnificent forts, lovely lakes, and centuries' worth of rich culture and history

After breakfast, proceed on a full-day tour of Udaipur. Visit the City Palace, which is located on Lake Pichola's eastern side. The complex is a vast collection of palaces constructed beginning around 1559. On one side, the Lake Palace Hotel and Jag Mandir are visible from the palace's balcony, and on the other, Udaipur is seen. Your visit to the City Palace will be one you will never forget because of the murals, mosaics, deftly carved "chhatris," and magnificent exterior. Visit Sahelion ki Bari, a beautiful garden, after that. You will also go to the 1651-completed Jagdish Temple, which is built on a high terrace. It joins a two-story Mandapa (hall) to a two-story Saandhara (sanctum with covered ambulatory). Enjoy a boat trip on Lake Pichola in the evening. This man-made freshwater lake was constructed in the year 1362 AD (Depending upon the water level of the lake). The rest of the day is free to explore on your own.
