Kashmir – Stay close to nature

On arrival At the Jammu airport, meet and greet and drive to Katra, from where it is possible to hike 13 kilometers to the Mata Vaishno Devi Temple. Three natural pindies inside the cave stand in for Mata Saraswati, Lakshmi, and Kaali. Once you arrive in Katra, check into your accommodation and get ready for tomorrow's hike.

As you stroll along the banks of the River Lidder in Pahalgam, take in the splendor of the natural world. Pahalgam is the starting point for the Amarnath Pilgrimage and is renowned for a few trekking routes. Dinner and a hotel stay the following day.

After breakfast, take in the expansive vistas of Lidder Valley and Pahalgam town. Start from Aru Valley, a little settlement 15 kilometers upstream of the Lidder River. The route is scenic and offers plenty of camping options. For excursions to the Kolahoi glacier, this settlement serves as the starting point. Visit Chandanwari later; it's 16 km away and the beginning of the revered Amarnath Yatra. On the way, you can stop at Hajan, a charming picnic location, and the Betaab valley. Chandanwari is well-known for snow sledding on a snow bridge. Afternoon meal and Hotel stay.

After breakfast, travel to Srinagar, which is renowned for its beautiful houseboats and lakes as well as traditional Kashmiri handicrafts. The Nagin Lake is one of the waterbodies that make up the lake. This lake offers a sweeping vista of the mountains that encircle Srinagar. Shikaras, traditional Kashmiri boats, are utilized to navigate the lake's complex network of waterways. Enjoy a trip to the Mughal Gardens in the evening, followed by a Shikara ride on Dal Lake.

After breakfast, go for a full-day trip to Sonamarg, also known as the "Meadow of Gold," which is located on the Srinagar-Leh Road. The highlight of this meadow is a gushing river that flows from snowy heights into the lush forests of firs and silver birches. Numerous camping areas in Sonamarg are covered in glaciers that flow down from the Himalayas along this stream. Sonamarg offers excitement in the form of treks, sledding, fishing, alpine skiing, and white-water rafting. The area is covered in a dense forest of sycamore, alpine flowers, silver birch, fir, and pine. Visit Thajiwas Glacier when you get there.

Return to Srinagar later for dinner and an overnight houseboat stay.

After breakfast, leave for a full-day expedition to Gulmarg, also known as the "Meadow of Flowers," which is located at the height of 2730 meters. Enjoy a full day of local Gulmarg sightseeing and a ride on the gondola (cable car). The Gulmarg Gondola, the second-largest and highest cable car installation in the world and Asia, is Gulmarg's primary tourist destination. A trip to Gulmarg is deemed incomplete if it does not include a trip on the well-liked cable car. This must-do activity in Gulmarg is ideal for families traveling together, couples on a date, as well as adventurers hoping to reach the summit of the mountain for the best skiing (in winter). strolls across flower-filled meadows of luxuriant greenery with snow-capped mountains in the background.
